Chapter Six

Max sat on the swing, occasionally pushing off the ground. He let the swing slow to a near stop before kicking off again. Once, he leaned back to stare at the stars and almost fell, catching himself at the last minute. I noticed I was spending more time watching him just being himself than I was gathering my thoughts.
