Chapter 32 - Hunter

For the next few days, Hunter fell into a groove of emailing each day’s Guess and Clue, waiting for Anissa’s reply, and then emailing again. Everything was going smoothly, and he just focused on being himself in the emails. He wove the letters he needed for his hidden message into whatever clues and guesses came to mind, and he allowed himself the freedom to just talk to her – to type what he was thinking. If he typed something dorky, he left it in. He talked to her like he would someone who knew him well, like he would to a friend. Except, well, sometimes he also flirted. Which he wouldn’t do if it were anyone but Anissa. But Anissa flirted back. Things were going well.
